Wednesday Shelf Control is a bookish meme hosted by Bookshelf Fantasies on a weekly basis.
Hi, and welcome back to my weekly Wednesday Shelf Control!
I need to confess. I have so many books, I constantly buy them, but the problem is, I almost never get to read them, and they keep staying lonely on my shelf, waiting for that D-day when I decide I want to read them. /sigh/ I’m such a potato.
Today’s featuring book is…
Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell
How I got it:
I got a free Ebook (Russian translation) from Litres as a part of their promotion 3+1.
And soon I will have a hardcover version.
When I got it:
October 7th, 2016 (Ebook version)
Why I want to read it:
I loved the movie, so I wanted to know the original story, plus it’s a mix of my favorite elements, from history to utopia (or dystopia, depends on how you see it); and of course, everyone around me says this book is great! I think I’ll start reading it as soon as my physical copy arrives, since it’s much easier for me to read from physical copies than soft ones.
What do you think of this week’s choice? Have you read it already? Did you like it?
See you next time!
