Hi!

Sorry I’ve been missing TTTs lately, didn’t have much energy to shoot ideas in the air, but now here I am, sitting at my office desk and typing like crazy 😄

Let’s talk about what makes me want to instantly read, or at least, buy a book!

10 Things That Will Instantly Make Me Want to Read A Book

  1. Read a book: It’s a sequel to a book I just finished, or finished long time ago and was eagerly waiting for next part!
examples: Harry Potter back when it only was releasing (oh those precious memories!), ACOTAR Saga (I will die upon reading ACOWAR for sure), The Lunar Chronicles (I started with Cress and got hooked so hard I went for all four books to read! Ended up being a total fan).
  2. Buy a book: A super pretty cover! It must be so pretty I want to take pictures of them forever. Who doesn’t want so at the look of a beautful masterpiece!
examples: The Big Dipper by Max Frei. I keep thinking that this book cover is actually glowing like stars in the night sky!

  3. Read a book: It’s of magical realism genre. I’m a damn sucker for that genre, so I’m willing to read everything (or nearly everything) from it! Maybe I should start making a huge collection of magical realism books.
examples: Old Vilnius’ Tales series by Max Frei.
  4. Buy a book: A very, VERY interesting blurb. I mean, don’t we all read the blurb to decide whether we buy that book or nah? Okay, as for blurbs, I go with almost anything urban fantasy.
  5. Read a book: I’ve been hearing so many positive things about the book/series that I can’t endure delaying anymore!
  6. Buy a book: Retellings. Fairy tale retellings, classic retellings, I’m just IN.
examples: The Lunar Chronicles, Queen of Hearts & Blood of Wonderland (by Colleen Oakes)
  7. Read a book: It has strong female characters involved, be it main character or just supporting. Women power!
examples: The Hunger Games trilogy, ACOTAR Saga (again!)
  8. Buy a book: It’s anything Alice in Wonderland related. Mostly I talk about retellings, cause I’m still picking that perfect edition of original Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland to have in my possession. But any kind of retellings, I’m it.
examples: Queen of Hearts series by Colleen Oakes, Splintered series by A.G. Howard
  9. Read a book: It’s about stars. Fantasies and sci-fies set up in the stars, or using stars in any other way in the fiction. I just love it so much.
examples: haven’t read yet but Zodiac by Romina Russel. Of those read, The Big Dipper by Max Frei.
  10. Buy a book: Hardcover edition of a very beloved book. Yup, sometimes I do so when I want to cherish it for longer time. Although I’m not good with it yet, but I have plans.
examples: will probably get hardcovers of TLC, ACOTAR saga, and ADSOM series.
