Monthly Haul & Wrap-up

May Wrap-up & Haul!

wrapup-haul

Hi there!

Finally, it’s the last day of May, which means – time to summarize everything we’ve done over these four and a half weeks!

Be brave to hit that “Continue reading” link to see what I’ve done throughout May!

Book haul

You shouldn’t be surprised at the amount of books I bought this month… Nope, you sure shouldn’t. Because it’s THIS. FREAKING. AMOUNT.

Nineteen books. Plus ten eBooks. Twenty-nine books in total. Yup. I’M CRAZY.

Physical books purchased in May

Physical copies:

  • Caraval by Stephanie Garber, UK edition (if you’re interested, the cover hidden is the dress)
  • Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones, a.k.a. biggest book disappointment of 2017
  • Given to the Sea by Mindy McGinnis, the book was included in April’s Fairyloot box
  • H2O by Virginia Bergin
  • Carry On by Rainbow Rowell
  • I’ll Give You the Sun by Jandy Nelson

Reading, Blogging and Bookstagram Wrap-up

Reading Wrap-up

Two books read, and one DNFed this month? Yeah, sounds pretty much like me. Blame that book hangover and reading slump after ACOWAR!

Anyways, you can still read reviews for these books:

  • A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas, with some quote hunting;
  • Wintersong by S. Jae-Jones, which was my total disappointment despite the beautiful cover;
  • Pax by Sara Pennypacker, or how this book is too boring to recommend it to even adults, not only middle-grades.

Blogging Wrap-up

Okay, so how actually active I was with my blog? I think not really.

Most noticeable:

Bookstagram Wrap-up

Unlike April, I wasn’t active enough, on my bookstagram, and that is one of the reasons I still didn’t break through the 300 followers mark. I had two trips, and one heavily depressive period throughout May (actually, it hadn’t fully ended yet), so I wasn’t really focused on keeping my bookstagram that alive. Plus I was thinking of a new layout theme, since I got tired with my bokeh one, even knowing how much you liked that. But I needed changes.

Here’s a recap of best picks of May, excluding the new theme announcement, which only started today.

interaction

Well, that’s it for my May recap! I will try my best to be active during June, and maybe I’ll get my next achievement which is 100 followers here and 400 on bookstagram!

How productive you were this month? Read many books? Bought a lot?

Love you all,
